Awarded the 14th China Skills Award and National Technical Expert Honorary Titles

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China held the selection event for the 14th China Skills Award and National Technical Expert, and recently announced the selection results. Comrade Meng Zhaoli from Shandong Pacific Fiber Optic Cable Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary title of "National Technical Expert".

The selection of "National Technical Experts" adopts a two-level evaluation system, and "National Technical Experts" are mainly selected and commended from the technical experts at the provincial or industry level. The candidates shall be recommended by the provincial (industry) expert evaluation committee in accordance with the quotas issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and after being determined by the provincial (industry) expert evaluation committee, to the Skilled Talent Selection and Commendation Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. The Skilled Talents Selection and Commendation Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security shall organize the review, screening, and organization of the recommended "National Technical Experts" candidates' historical materials, and organize relevant industry experts to conduct a review. After the review, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security shall convene a national expert review meeting, and the expert review committee shall conduct a final review of the candidates. After determining the candidates, they shall be submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security for approval. The selection and commendation activity is held every two years, and national technical experts are awarded the honorary title of "National Technical Expert", with certificates, medals, and bonuses presented.

It is reported that Meng Zhaoli has previously received multiple honors, including Chief Technician of Liaocheng City, Outstanding Contribution Technician of Shandong Province, Chief Technician of Qilu, and Expert of China Maintenance and Technical Renovation Association. Comrade Meng Zhaoli has rich work experience and is skilled in equipment management, equipment upgrading and renovation. So far, Comrade Meng Zhaoli has participated in 6 new invention patents and 2 first inventors; Accepted 2 invention patents and multiple technical papers.
